Portfolio
I’ve made a lot of normal things, a lot of random things and a lot of cool things. I’ve even made some things that I can’t put on this list but would be glad to speak with you about.
- For the past two years, I’ve been working at Offbeat Guides as the CTO. We’ve made it so that it’s relatively trivial to take complex web information (read: we parse a ton of stuff from all over and combine it into a single sensical document) and make a physical book without any interaction on our part. Everything is automated from end-to-end; design of a book online to the physical arrival of the book in the customer’s hand.
- Recently, I’ve been working on a Sql CE Browser for viewing/manipulating Microsoft Sql Compact Edition databases.
- Before that, I was designing Windows Mobile software such as GMobileSync which was the most popular free Google Calendar syncing software for a few years. Google has since made this a feature of their own.
- One day, for fun, I made 9MinutesOfFame.com. You’ll have to ask me about this because it’s a funny story all around. The website had something like 500k uniques per month and users spent an average of 30 minutes on the website per visit.
- Then there was Twitteroo, the first Windows Twitter client. Twitteroo was good friends with Jaikuroo which was the first Windows Jaiku (now Google) client. (no longer supported)
- Once upon a time, I made myLastFM which was the first Desktop Last.fm client. (no longer supported)
I have also done a lot of consulting work, websites, applications, etc. that were not included above.
